Rally with MassCann/NEVA At The State House

Mass Cann Needs YOU!
Rally on the State House Steps
To Kill The Bill
Wednesday, June 21 10am

The Joint Committee on Marijuana Policy has reported out an omnibus bill that will repeal and replace both the Medical Marijuana act of 2012 AND also the Question 4 law that passed November 2016. They will be releasing a modified version on Monday and the House will debate and vote it on Wednesday.

The new law will:

• harm patients
• increase the tax to 28% on recreational sales and 21.75% on medical sales
• everyone who wishes to work in the cannabis industry and everyone who applies for a license and everyone they associate with in the course of business will be investigated and fingerprinted with the information shared with the FBI
• make the personal possession of hemp seeds and cultivation of hemp for personal use a crime.

And that is the good parts! This bill must be killed!

Join us for the Rally. If you have time, please visit your representatives. Let them know you care about this issue, and instruct them to Vote NO!
We will meet directly in front of the State House on Beacon Street at 9:45. There will be speakers, professional signs and hopefully a large crowd. Please join us, and bring a friend (or five). We will have printed signs that read: Kill The Bill!
We are being joined by MPP/Yes on 4, MRCC, MGAC, MPAA, Cannabis Society, Women Grow and the ACLU!
